WARM DESIRE

Lost in my thoughts and deeds
Barely had I noticed myself
Urging for a transformation,
I did things never been craved
And then he came with a ray of hope
To give a fresh start, to rejuvenate
I bathed in his cold sweat
And washed away my old smell
With that I re-entered into that world
No guilt, no hard feelings
Only a delicate feeling of love
No strings, but souls attached!

DEATH OF A SPIDER

It was sitting behind the toilet seat
With long legs spread apart,
Hairs bracing on them.
Those white eyes looked rather cruel
On that huge head with no hairs.
No positional change occurred
When I flushed the toilet.
A bad idea arose in my head
To kill that clumsy creature.
I had only the cockroach killer spray
But I tried it on and on
The long legs started shivering and running.
With a steady state of mind,
It climbed on the walls moving abruptly
I left it alone for a while.
Then I saw a tiny spider liberating from its body,
And I knew that it was a female!
I felt some guilt but did nothing.
When I reentered the bathroom,
She was not visible at all
With my scrutinizing eyes I found her
Camouflaged on the brown broom.
I sprayed again and again with rage
And there it lay on the floor tired
The hind legs scrapping her own face,
Making small attempts to climb,
But failing to make a trial
I scooped that creature with utmost care
Half dead, with an angry heart
Now she lay on the soil after the turmoil,
With ants dashing for their feast…
Once fierce limbs were torn away,
Once built webs were washed away,
Once bulged belly shrunk inwards,
Like all living creatures culminate!

A MUDDY PASSION

The hut with mud walls smiled,
With tinder in the eyes and temper in the lips!
They saw it and laughed too,
Showing off the ugly wrinkles.
His half grown beard frowned,
With trickling sweat on it.
She felt his icky smell and walked away,
Towards the hut darkness within
That frostiness gave her more comfort,
Than his venomous company.
But then she knew that there is no exit for her,
From the suffocation.
He smiled again with cruelty inside
But it was the last chance for him,
To call her back, to love her;
Agony resulted for both.
Because, their eyes didn’t meet!

LAST FAREWELL

My skin is being peeled off,
By the influence of my inner blaze
Burning up to ashes,
I stood with a naked soul.
The bitterness of that fire,
I felt; has left myself out!
In that empty corner,
With nothing to hang up,
To cling to or trust upon,
Was my soul reaper!
By him I was invited,
To the scorching candlelight.
I was dumb when I felt it-
Yes, his climbing fingers were discovering my flesh.
I yelled in dismay,
But, voice struck the throat,
Hoping for a flyover,
Into the darkness of grief!
